Getting to Wells

By bus

The best way to get to the Festival is by bus. First Bus routes 126, 172, 173, 174 and 376 and Buses of Somerset route 29 all stop in Wells.

By car

The main routes to Wells are the A371 and the A39.

For more parking in Wells visit Parkopedia. Please avoid parking at the Wells Little Theatre and there is no parking at Cedars Hall. 

Please note on Sunday 26 May the Wells Fun Run takes place in the morning. Some roads will be closed. Please allow plenty of time for your journey and to park.

By train

The nearest train stations are Castle Cary (12 miles from Wells), Bristol Temple Meads (22 miles) and Bath Spa (22 miles), where you will find First Bus links to Wells. Trains go more regularly to Bristol and Bath and bus links are quicker and easier from those stations.
